Florida Responsible Vendor Alcohol Training for Servers & Bartenders
Responsible alcohol service training for Florida servers and bartenders, designed to meet the employee training requirements of Florida's Responsible Vendor Act (Fla. Stat. 561.705). Use it as the training component of your Responsible Vendor program.
Covers Florida alcohol law, checking IDs and preventing underage sales, recognizing intoxication, how alcohol affects the body and driving, alcohol combined with other drugs, refusing service, and handling drug activity by guests and employees. About 2 to 2.5 hours, with a 40-question final exam and a certificate of completion.
Good to know: No state approval is required for Responsible Vendor courses. Responsible Vendor status is earned by the business, and also requires manager training, staff meetings every 4 months, a hiring questionnaire, a signed drug policy, posted signs, and records. Pair this course with Florida Responsible Vendor Alcohol Training for Managers. Training only, not legal advice.
